Since this year, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, as one of the three pilot units, has taken the lead in promoting the implementation of green electricity trading based on the Internet of Vehicles. At present, there are 5 power supply companies and 10 social operators in Chongqing area (including leading charging operators such as special calls, star charging, etc.), and a total of 872 charging piles participate in green power transactions.

Electric vehicle users purchased Sichuan surplus hydropower at a lower price during the low water period of the high water period, and obtained discounts through the power trading platform and the Internet of Vehicles platform, achieving a win-win situation on the power generation side and the user side. At the same time, encouraging users by market means is also good news for charging operators.

Chongqing Dongcheng Bus Company is mainly responsible for bus passenger transportation and rural passenger transportation in and out of the Second Ring Road in the main urban area of Chongqing. There are more than 400 electric buses using special charging charging piles, and each car charges about 100 kWh per day. During the green electricity trading pilot, all of these buses changed from charging in the peak period to charging in the valley period.

The data shows that due to the use of market-oriented means to attract users to charge in the low period, after the official implementation of the green electricity transaction on August 1, the proportion of the user's peak-hour charging power was reduced from 67% to 22%, a decrease of 45 percentage points from the previous month The proportion of charging electricity during the period increased from 13% to 43%, an increase of 30 percentage points from the previous month.

In the next stage, the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power will be deployed in a unified manner, continue to promote the green electricity transaction based on the Internet of Vehicles, cooperate with the summary of the demonstration project results, and refine the staged results to provide support for subsequent work.
